Privacy Policy for Verbacard

Verbacard LLC ("Verbacard," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you shop at verbacard.com, visit our Amazon storefront at amazon.com/verbacard, or use our digital resources and forthcoming app. It applies to our flashcard products and accompanying digital content.

1. Information we collect

Order information: name, email address, phone number, and shipping address when you purchase flashcards or digital items.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns collected through cookies and tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and the Facebook Pixel).
App data (future): once our app launches, we may collect additional data such as account details and usage statistics. This policy will be updated when that happens.

We do not collect payment details directly. Payments are handled securely by Shopify or Amazon.

2. How we use your information

Process and fulfill orders, including shipping flashcards and providing access to audio files.
Send order updates and respond to inquiries.
Improve our website, products, and digital content through analytics.
Show relevant ads through the Facebook Pixel (you can opt out, see below).
Comply with legal requirements such as tax and consumer protection laws.

3. Sharing your information

We only share your data as needed to run the store:

Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment: we share your name and shipping address with Amazon so it can ship your order.
Analytics providers: Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and the Facebook Pixel process technical and usage data, anonymized where possible.

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, except when required by law (for example, a court order).

4. Cookies and tracking

We use Shopify Analytics to track site performance and shopping behavior, Google Analytics to analyze traffic, and the Facebook Pixel to show relevant ads on Facebook. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or on our Your Privacy Choices page. Opting out will not affect your ability to shop.

5. Your privacy rights

We are a US-based company and comply with laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents. You may:

Request access to your data
Correct errors in your information
Request deletion of your data (subject to order records we are required to keep)
Opt out of ad tracking (we do not sell data)

6. Data security

We rely on the encryption and secure systems provided by Shopify and Amazon to protect your data. No online platform is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk.

7. Digital content and app

Flashcard purchases include access to audio files and digital resources hosted on our site. Our app, currently in development, will follow this policy.
